To complete the free online Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Independent Study Courses required for the Community Emergency Response Team, you must first obtain a FEMA Student Identification (SID) number. To do this, click here, select “Register for a FEMA SID”, and follow the instructions on the FEMA website.
