On October 16, members of the CC MO CERT came together to help stock the CERT trailer, create a “needed items” list, and put faces to names as they spent time getting to know each other!
The CC MO CERT also had two visitors from the Benton County, MO CERT who came by to lend a hand, encouraging the strengthening of the bridge of support from our neighboring county to the west! Barb and Ken Vining are recent graduates of the Benton County, MO CERT training class which took place in September and are excited to accompany CC MO CERT PIO and Benton County, MO CERT Trainer Samantha Henley in continuing the work to make sure our counties have great support in times of need!
We would like to thank members of the current CC MO CERT class who came out to help move large safety cones, equipment, packs, and more last night. The group was able to remove unnecessary items from the trailer and get to know many of the existing CC MO CERT leaders. We are also thankful to Ron Gentry, Camden County Emergency Management Director, for his help and guidance as we work to make the CC MO CERT an extremely dependable and valuable resource to our county!
